Week Thirteen.......Fresh

This week we are honored that the fabulous Maegan Beishline aka as Madeline Bea is our guest. Maegan is a fabulous photographer with a special gift in still life imagery. She is a wonderful crafter, blogger and mama. She is multi-talented and an incredible inspiration.
As usual our guest was able to choose the word and I love what she came up with. Her word of choice is fresh. You can find so many ways to play with this word and I am eager to see what you all come up with this week. Here is our take on the word....

Week Twelve... blur

This week I thought we would let everyone have a chance to photograph something we all can appreciate... a little blur (aka bokeh). As you can see Kristina and I were on the same page this week on how we captured our blur. I went up close and personal on our first blooming spring flower, and she achieved a wonderful blur and bokeh circles while capturing California's gorgeous tree blossoms. However you decide to capture the word of the week, we hope that you'll share it with us in the flickr group pool.

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with :)

Week Eleven.....Fun

left, Barb, right, Kristina

We have had some pretty deep weeks lately so I thought it was time to lighten the mood around here.
I chose fun for our word this week because I think everyone is experiencing a bit of the winter blues and I thought this would be a great pick me up. Barb and I both kept it pretty simple....
what could be more fun than running and playing and bubbles? Sounds like a lot of fun to me. ;)
We can't wait see your amazing and creative ideas for this week.

Week Ten... Courage

Parallel Vision.... week 10 {courage}

When I (Barb) chose this word I had no idea where it was going to take me. It crossed my mind that perhaps it was too difficult to convey, but I decided to stick with it and make it work. Little did I know that it would come into play over the weekend. To meet my first flickr friend... my first online friend... my first blind date with a girl! was a fairly large leap out of my comfort zone, but i've now bridged this gap and I have the courage to bridge many more.

What comes to mind when YOU think of "courage"? It takes courage to do many things... to be a brave soldier in the military, to jump off the cliff and join your friends in the warm carribbean waters, maybe your first airplane ride. Or perhaps you're more like Kristina and need the courage to step on the scale.

Whatever it may be, we hope that you share your visions of courage with us this week and who knows, maybe you'll face some of your own fears in the process :)

Week Nine......Free

This week was my turn to choose and I went with the word free. I felt like free was another one of those words with so many meanings. It can be light and easy like when you are running with your bare feet in the grass or it can be dark, like when you are finally free from an abusive relationship. Take this where your heart guides you .....
We look forward to seeing your meaning of free.
